Diwali 2010 Celebrations and our Car Photos

It has been a while since my last post. Long pause as many things going on in personal space. I am pursuing my higher education, doing a course in General Management from IIM, Bangalore.

We purchased a new car recently - Toyota Innova. The car is simply superb, it looks quite big for Indian roads however the drive & manuverability is simply amazing. I am attaching some photos of the car.

I am also attaching some of the photos of our Diwali celebrations. Ishaan & Aryan did the rituals that was taught by their Ajji. More to follow shortly.

Ishaan's birthday in Bangalore

On the 19th this month, Ishaan turned 5. Time flies so soon it is hard to believe Ishaan is 5 now. I am in London currently and missed being there when the celebrations took place. Just as a solace and trying to empathise with self, I offered a visit to the temple to make up for my absence.

Sent two online cards and am planning to send a physical card (these are so rare now-a-days). He absolutely loves Disney Cars (Lightning McQueen) and I ordered an excellent one from a good site (Moonpig.com) they have a variety of choices of greeting cards (better than Amazon which is a shocker!)

I am attaching some photos of his birthday celebrations. Note ajji(my granny) is in this picture...

Arrival of our second son - Aryan Bharadwaj

APOLOGIES AS THIS POST WAS SITTING IN THE DRAFT VERSION WITHOUT BEING PUBLISHED!!

Our second son - Aryan Bharadwaj was born on the 20th December 2006. The original date was 27th December. Our OB-Gyn - Mary Ann Sarda Maduro decided to induce the baby by 20th if Aryan decided not to come early.

On the day, Aryan had his Dad, Mom, Ajji and Dodamma and his elder bother Ishaan for company. We all were up early (at 6 AM) and proceeded to Washington Memorial hospital for Registration and admittance. Mommy was given the harmones to start contractions by 9 AM after all the initial procedures.

Dodamma had made plans to head back to Seattle by 9 AM flight. Daddy had to drop off Doddamma at the San Jose Airport and Dad was back by 8:30 AM in the morning. Things started to really hasten after the harmones were provided to Mommy.

Mommy was given instructions by the OB-GYN before being admitted to the hospital and OB-Gyn had promised us by lunch time, I would be out and about in this world. As promised, the contractions started getting intense by about 11:20 AM. The OB was around and everything started to occur quite quickly. This is when I finally decided to see this world and by 11:54 AM, I came into this world.
